Do I need to connect my bank account?

No. MileDeck is built on a "Zero-Link" philosophy. We never ask for your bank credentials. You simply add the cards you own to your profile, and manually log transactions if you want to track caps. It is safer and more private.

Why does the optimizer suggest cards I do not own?

We calculate the "Opportunity Cost" of your current wallet. The optimizer highlights cards that could significantly increase your annual rewards yield, accounting for their annual fees. You can always choose to "lock" your current cards if you prefer not to apply for new ones.

Is my financial data safe?

Absolutely. Your data never leaves your device. MileDeck operates offline and has no backend servers. Your spending profile, income, and card choices are stored in a secure local database on your phone.
